夜の草原 - Night Prairie

暗く広がる夜の草原も、月が輝く夜には明るく輝くものだけど、

星がまたたく夜には、かえって暗く感じてしまいます。

遠くにうっすらと見える丘陵の影ばかりを眺めて歩き続けるよりは、

焚火でもして一晩をやり過ごした方が賢明ですね。

さっきまでは暗く沈んで見えた世界でも、

ひとたび灯りをともすと、意外にも色鮮やかな世界が広がっていたりするものですから。

それでもやはりその二つは同じ一つの世界なのです。

In the dark expanse of the night prairie, even in the moonlit nights, it shines brightly, yet when the stars twinkle, it seems rather dark.

 Instead of continuing to gaze at the faintly visible hills in the distance, it would be wiser to make a fire and spend the night. 

What seemed gloomy and sunken just moments ago, often unfolds into a surprisingly vivid world once a light is kindled. 

Nevertheless, both are part of the same single world.

暗沉的夜晚草原，即使在月光照耀下也依然明亮，但当星星闪烁时，反而显得黑暗。与其一直凝视远处隐约可见的小山，不如生火过夜更为明智。刚才看似阴暗沉沉的世界，一旦点燃火光，常常展现出意外鲜艳的景象。然而，这两者仍然属于同一个世界。
